I am going to detial what my credit problems were and how I solved them. I hope my struggles help all who read it and I hope that others will follow suit and share their stories, even if you havent resolved your credit issues yet.  

My issues started when my brother died.  My father works in the airline industry and after 9/11 there wasnt much work. The 12,000 funeral really hit us hard. All of our money went to keeping out house from being forclosed on.  That meant my credit cards, cell phone and mis acocunts were not paid.  Once my father home was safe my fiance and I moved in togther after his parents divorced.  I had a min wage job and he was an emt. We made enough to scrape by and send me to school to get a job in the medical field.  Once I finished school he went in and we lived paycheck to paycheck for the next 2 years.  Once he finished school we worked like mad ppl to save up as much money as we could.  We got married and then began to work on our credit.  I opened up a credit card for each of us and used debt validation to remove as many negative marks as I could from out credit. I sent letters that removed all of the inquirys from out credit.  I then made settlements witht he rest of the companys to pay for delete.  Now I have one or two listings left and have raised each of our scores from the 300's to the mid to high 600's.  I hope to buy a new car soon in order to further improve our credit.

I had my daughter at 22 with my boyfriend of 3 years. He later lost his job and we lost our apartment and car.  We are no longer together and I am a single mom.  I want to fix my credit so I can buy a house for my daughter and I to live in.
